i reworked my perspective pieces a bit. i decided to create a dystopian world with illustrator, because, the way i see it, there's nothing but boredom in creating 2d & 3d illustrator pieces, and in the future when dystopia reigns, wont we all be creating art on a computer anyway? pencils will probably be outlawed.

  1. The first and last ones make me think of propaganda landscapes (or something like that, it's pretty neat.)

  3. These makes me feel depressed which is probably the mood you were going for. It is very different from the rest of the class who all added color to their works. I like how you've decided to go against the grain and do something unique and different. I think you handle these well. I just wish they were just a little more detailed, maybe add some bricks to the buildings and add some windows and add bars to them. Overall I like the idea. Good job :)

  7. tite. the palette compliments the theme of the pieces with its drab, minimalist approach. the first one in particular, with the all-seeing eye, is very striking for some reason. i think it has a lot to do with the simplistic feel and gray values

  8. I wouldn't be surprised if you're the only one who used grayscale. Very bold; I wasn't sure if we could do that or not, but there were no restrictions so I applaud you for 'walking a different path.

  10. The depth in the second one is pretty great, I enjoy the effect of looking at one piece then looking closer to see the two other images on the wall.
